Join Heather for a relaxing immune boosting workshop to combat this dreaded part of the year. This two hour workshop will include gentle stretching, restorative yoga, deep meditation and aromatherapy to prepare your body for the months ahead. Fall Equinox Gong Celebration

An equinox occurs twice a year, when the tilt of the Earth’s axis is on a level plane with the sun. It marks a time when the hours of the daylight and darkness are equal. It is a time of passage and change. The autumnal equinox marks the passage into Fall. Equal energy from the sun and moon provide balance on all levels and the coming of Autumn is a time of shedding and shoring. This is a wonderful time to meditate and project. The sounds and vibrations of the gong help us experience a profound meditative state. Experiencing the gong during an equinox can be a transformative experience. The class will begin with gentle stretching and breath work followed by the gong which will be played for 50 minutes. Yogi Tea, Indian food, and sweets will be served after the meditation. Wear loose comfortable clothes.

Leave the Dog Days of Summer Behind – a Restorative Workshop and Yoga Nidra

Leave the dog days of summer behind restoring yourself to as the season moves into fall. Join Nancy as she guides you in a healing and balancing practice of Restorative Yoga. Using blankets, bolsters, blocks and walls, your body will have the support it needs to relax and let go. The longer holds in these supportive poses allows time for the nervous system to reset and return the body and mind to a state of balance. A Yoga Nidra meditation ends this class.

Partner Yoga – Friday Night Date

Ease into your weekend with this Friday night workshop. Partner Yoga is a great way to feel supported in your yoga practice. Align & Refine AND Yin/Restorative Yoga

Want to refine your yoga practice… or just relax? Wanda Howe, eRYT500 will take you through a series of poses designed to help you gain strength and at the same learn how to better align your body to enjoy the pose. If you want to relax and rejuvenate, Nancy MacDonald, eRYT500 will guide you through a restorative yin yoga practice complemented with a luscious relaxation at the end of class. There may even be some gentle aromatherapy to deepen your relaxation.

These classes will be offered from 10:00 – 11:30 am on July 4th.
