Dr. Susan Stone is a Board Certified, Florida Licensed, Doctor of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture Physician. In addition, Dr. Stone is trained in Point Injection Therapy and Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation. Dr. Stone studied and graduated from the East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, Florida, in 2011 with an M.S. in Oriental Medicine and a B.S. In Professional Health Science.
A sad goodbye and a bright beginning
To all my current and previous students, my patients, my colleagues and teachers, my friends and my family here at yoga4All:
As some of you may already know, I will be leaving this lovely studio at Yoga4All on Tuesday, May 7th. I do plan to return to provide occassional workshops, but will no longer be teaching on a regular basis or providing acupuncture at this location. This has been a difficult decision for me, but after commuting for 5 years, it seems like the right time to devote my full attention to my family and my new acupuncture practice in Bradenton.
I have been a part of this amazing community for close to eleven years and have always felt welcome and loved here. A true blessing! In looking back, I realize how I have had such love and support in every big milestone in my life (and many little ones!). You were there for me when I got divorced, when I was raising a small daughter on my own, you were there for me when my mother passed away. You fully supported me when I chose to drive to Sarasota to go to Acupuncture School disrupting the yoga schedule many of you had become accustomed to, and then moved there to complete my studies while driving here three days a week. You were thrilled (as was I) when I met my wonderful husband Paul and got married. You were my first patients, you told your friends and family about me and many of them came to see me as well. I must tell you how honored I am to have been a part of your lives through yoga and/or acupuncture; some of you for many many years and some of you just a few. You are all such very special people and I will miss you deeply as I make this transition.
To the staff at Yoga4All, and especially Marty and Joe Maddox, I want you to know I could not have dreamed of working anywhere as wonderful as this. I have often said “I have the best job ever” and I meant it. The support and love and workability of the staff here is amazing, not to mention the amazing skill level of all our teachers and practitioners. I have learned so much from you all and have appreciated your friendship and partnership.
My husband and I just purchased a lovely home in Bradenton with my daughter Samantha, who is now 13. She is going into high school next year and has landed a position on the dance team at our local high school (which she can walk to!). My Bradenton practice, Stone Wellness Acupuncture Clinic, opened in late December and I’m happy to say, is now thriving…much more quickly than I anticipated. All these things have brought me to the place I am now, which is having made the difficult decision to leave Seminole and move fully into my practice in Bradenton. As I mentioned, I do plan to still offer AcuYoga Restorative Workshops and maybe others several times a year here at Yoga4All.
