Do kids really need yoga in their lives? The answer is YES and the reasons why they need it are many.

Kidding Around Yoga is a fun and natural way for kids to exercise, relax, focus, and strengthen the body/mind/spirit connection in a very playful way! We offer music, games, dancing, laughter, activities, and all sorts of fun yoga poses that help kids build confidence, nurture creativity, and find peace… all while kidding around

While we do not currently have any kids classes, please check back periodically to see if we have opened up any classes.

Anita Fedigan, RYT the primary instructor for these classes received her 200-hour integral yoga certification at  Satchidananda Ashram, her kids yoga instruction certifications from Radiant Child and Kidding Around Yoga, and is registered through Yoga Alliance. Kids are a huge part of her life: when she’s not kidding around on the yoga mat, she is spending time with her 2 young children, Evan and Eden, who help her come up with all the fun games and activities for her kids yoga classes. She also has a passion for travel,  and has explored many parts of the world, but is happy to have settled in Gulfport, Florida with her 2 kids, her husband, Steven, and their beloved pug, Elvis. Cassie Dixon, RYT is assisting and substitute teaching for the class when needed.  She loves to TEACH! With a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and lots of teaching experience in a variety of locations, Cassie has enjoyed teaching Kidding Around Yoga for 5 years. She even helped to create the KAY Classroom and Behavior Management curriculum along with sections of the Teacher Training course. Cassie lives in Seminole, Florida, and is a huge Florida Gator fan. She has a son and daughter and 2 rescue pups. Cassie loves living in the Sunshine State, and being active is very important to her. In addition to teaching and practicing Yoga, Cassie likes to run, play in her pool and at the beach, read mystery novels, and get crafty. She is a member of Baby Boot Camp’s StrollerFit, too.
